Return To Play is on it's way!
Following the recent government announcement yesterday, the current road-map in relation to Returning to Play for Handball is as follows:
+ Road-map Step 1 [29/03/2021]: Outdoor training - for adults and under 18 - can restart against EHA's Stage 4 Protocol.
+ Road-map Step 2 [not earlier than 12/04/2021]: Indoor Under-18 competition and training can resume against EHA's Stage 4/5 Protocol.
+ Road-map Step 3 [not earlier than 17/05/2021]: Adult indoor training can restart against EHA's Stage 4 Protocol.
+ Road-map Step 4 [not earlier than 21/06/2021]: No legal limits on social distancing and social events.
The above dates are conditioned against below (4) tests:
1. The vaccine deployment programme continues successfully.
2. Evidence shows vaccines are sufficiently effective in reducing hospitalisations and deaths in those vaccinated.
3. Infection rates do not risk a surge in hospitalisations which would put
unsustainable pressure on the NHS.
4. Our assessment of the risks is not fundamentally changed by new Variants of Concern.
